Art is good for the mind
I passionately believe that making art, looking at art, owning art, talking about art is good for the mind. Unfortunately some people really struggle to have a healthy mind, I know this first hand as people very close to me suffer with anxiety, depression and more. I’ve decided that I’d like to do something practical to help, so I am going to donate 30% of the price of each piece of artwork that I sell directly, to Mind (Registered charity No. 219830). I have personally been helped by the charity and I think they do amazing work by providing both practical and emotional support to people in need.
How you can help
- Just £8 could offer a lifeline to someone in desperate need of support by letting the Mind info line team answer their call
- £15 could help Mind campaign for better access to talking therapies, crisis care and other essential mental health services
- £21 could keep Elefriends, their online support community, running for one hour
You can make a donation yourself to Mind by clicking here. Or if you wish, you can buy one of my paintings. As well as enjoying art yourself, or gifting it to others you’ll be making a real difference to mental health sufferers and their families.
You can see all of my available paintings on my Portfolio page.
